Panipat  pronunciation (help·info), is a historic city in Haryana, India. It is 90 km north of Delhi and 169 km south of Chandigarh on NH-1. The three battles fought near the city in 1526, 1556 and 1761 were all turning points in Indian history. The city is famous in India by the name of "City of Weavers" and "Textile City". It is also known as the "cast-off capital" due to being "the global centre for recycling textiles".

Approx 3 kms from bus stand. Highly populated area having market in the locality. Peaceful place and architectural tomb. There are two shrines. People visit to take blessings.

History of Panipat Battles can be learnt at this place. Small museum but with lots of weapons and pictures depicting story and history of Battles fought at Panipat.

This is really most attractive attraction in Panipat. This is the site which had witnessed three wars. As the last one was held between Marathas. This is real gateway of Mughal Dynasty. This site is situated about 12 kms away. Archaeological department and Haryana Tourism had developed this site as a major attraction.

The garden of Kabuli Bagh along with the Kabuli Bagh Mosque and a tank was built by Babur after the First battle to commemorate his victory over Ibrahim Lodhi. But because of bad maintanence, this place is no longer worth visiting.

This grave is located near Tehsil in the main city. It is grave of ibrahim lodhi but there is no maintenance of this place. Not recommended.
