Walking Bridge

What a superb addition to Palmerston North and l for one cannot fault it, plenty of room on the bridge and wheelchairs etc so stop in the middle take a selfie if you want take a moment to have a good look around. Read all the information when you see it and a night visit if you can to see all the lights going, have a look underneath the bridge this is an extremely well done build and all the plants and rocks just set it off perfectly. Carry on the other side and do one of the walks or bike if you wish and you will be glad you did.

There is a reasonably sized lake surrounded by grassed areas which makes it ideal for families to have a picnic away from the main city area. They often use the lake for canoeing and there are ducks which children enjoy feeding. There are also trees around the lake which can be used a shelter from the sun on a good day
