Fun on the farm, that describes the Florida Agricultural Museum. Visit our 1890 Florida Cracker home complete with rare heritage livestock (Cracker Cows, Cracker Horses and the Florida piney woods rooter hog). Chickens, ducks and a tame turkey greet our visitors before they depart on a tractor ride tour of the museum's historic farm buildings. Guided horseback riding is available by reservation. Horseback ride along beautiful trails over our 400 acre property or ride your horse over Interstate 95 on the "horses only" bridge to an adjoining 3000 acres of riding trails. Camping with or without your horse is available. You can also visit the Hewitt's Sawmill Archaeological Site located on a heavily treed 3/4 mile hiking trail. Discover the site of a water powered sawmill that operated from 1770 to 1813. We also rent Governor Caldwell's 5000 square foot diary barn for parties and wedding receptions. You can even get married lake side under a canopy trees. Everything at our museum is real. Not a plastic rock in the place. Come visit us and you will learn some Florida history and you might even carry home a free souvenir on your shoe. Your tour will last at lease an hour but the memories will last forever.

This is an extremely well run stable. No crazy horses or barn-storming. You will experience a seasoned professional guide and horses that are probably trained better than you. We took the two hour ride and had opportunities to take breaks, but we’re having such a lovely time, stayed on our horses. We saw a cypress wetland with Lilly pads, charming bridges, deep and lush forests, open areas, primitive buildings, numerous beautiful photo op spots, with our guide always accommodating photos and even taking them for us, which were later air dropped to us. We learned ALOT about horses and how they react to us, how they are trained, how we should be trained and walked, trotted and cantered, all numerous times and nicely spaced out for both the horses and us. We learned ALOT about the history of the land from the animals to the founders. This is by far the best trail ride experience I have had, even better than cruise ship rides as Cheryl will share her wealth of knowledge with you to insure your next ride will be better than your first. I will be coming back here soon!

Went there Saturday, most people were using social distancing except for a few. This park has so many amenities, from hiking the trails, fishing, you can rent Kayaks, drive through some tight roads where you will be back a 100 years. Pristine forest growth. you must visit. its a five star park.

Beautiful, uncrowded beaches with restrooms and a shower on the premises. Parking is somewhat limited but we manage to find a spot. You can spot the unusual water formations and tide pools when the tide is low exposing all the coquina rock formations. Not unusual to find starfish, and small fish in the tide pools....great for kids and pets.
