What to do and see in Out Islands, Out Islands: The Best Transportation

May 31, 2021 Margarita Chappel

The Out Islands are synonymous with sport, from the depths of the Gulf Stream that yield big game fish to the coral reefs just off shore that are catnip to scuba divers. Sailing, kayaking and beach-combing add action to lazy days in the sun, while resident pink flamingos and rare Bahama parrots color local hikes.

Cat Island Experience

Reviewed By Travelling67 - Nassau, Caribbean

So we had very limited time and wanted to see as much as we could in one day, we took Danny's tour and it exceeded our expectations. So many high points. we started with a walk to the mermaid blue hole along the way we got an informative lesson on all kinds of bush medicines. Then onto a really cool bat cave. Along the way we saw old and new churches along with plantations and as we went through each settlement we got great information. We stopped at Marys crab shack to taste Island stuffed crab and had a scrumptious lunch in the North. At the Southern part of the Island we stopped at a resort to see sharks YIKES and a really cool spot was the healing pond. Anything we wanted to do Danny fit in, he was super knowledgeable, very kind and friendly, He made us feel like we were family. Our last stop was the Hermitage at sunset which was absolutely breath taking, there was a feeling you get at the top of this Bahamian mountain that is unbelievable, tranquilty and serenity at its finest. An amazing day, highly recomend this tour. I believe Danny works with you in creating individual tours for your needs and was happy to fit in everything for us.

1st time using water taxi's (typically rent our own boat) but decided on a couple of last minute trips over to Chat n' Chill during our stay. Great service, always on time (even if we weren't!), comfortable ride...would definitely recommend.
