Lake Hjalmsjon is close to the city center of Orkelljunga, but it is so calm and quiet. Maybe because of the trees that surrounds the lake. This lake is one of the best in Sweden for rowing competition.

The Larkesholm hiking area consist of an hikinh trail around the larger of the two lakes in Larkesholm. It may sound simple but it is very beautiful. The lake follows you around the trail and offer a stunning view. No wonder this place is so popular!

A beautiful 5 km hike around the Lake through forest and fields. Our dog enjoyed it just as much as we did. Highly recommended.

The two lakes are located in Skanes Fagerhult and are surrounded by woods and reed. There is a toilet, dressing room, there is a dock where boats can be sailed.

The Pinna reserve is a section of unique nature in the middle of Orkelljunga village. It extends from the Pinna's outlet from Hjalmsjon lake in the north-east to Lyckstaberg in the south-west. In the middle of the area you have the impression of walking in a small rainforest.

The Abborra footpath is our newest trail. It's quite short, only 1,2 km but with the outdoor gym it is perfect for a whole-body training experience. It's located about 5-10 minutes from the city center and is located beside the lake Hjalmsjon, and goes around the smaller lake Abborra. This trail is also perfect if you have a stroller or wheelchair. There is a BBQ area and off-leash areas for dogs.

Mammas vik - a beach near the city center of Orkelljunga, but still very leafy and calm. With jetty, playground for kids, an outdoor gym and a BBQ place.

Beautifully situated lake at the idyllic village Asljunga. There is a diving tower, a dock and changing rooms.
