Orizaba (Spanish  [ori'saba] (help·info)) is a city and municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located 20 km west of its sister city Córdoba, and is adjacent to Río Blanco and Ixtaczoquitlán, on Federal Highways 180 and 190. The city had a 2005 census population of 117,273 and is almost coextensive with its small municipality, with only a few small areas outside the city. The municipality's population was 117,289 and it has an area of 27.97 km² (10.799 sq mi).

This building is known for being made by Gustave Eiffel himself. It was brought from Belgium and if you take a look to the joints and the steel really look like created in another time. There are various rooms with different museums inside; and the precautions for COVID are great!

It was declared as a “National Artistic Monument” on February 2014. This building is of great architectural beauty and is part of the Mier y Pesado Foundation, also known as “The Castle of Orizaba”. Palacio Municipal de Orizaba

Huge building that was built to house “The National Highschool College of Orizaba” (Colegio Nacional Preparatorio de Orizaba), the style of the building belongs to the French Renaissance of the early 20th Century. You can find in here a Mural painted by the artist Jose Clemente Orozco named “Reconstruction” or “Social Revolution”, the only art piece he made in the State of Veracruz. You can also find the Metropolitan Museum and the “Palace” Picture Gallery.
