This church is quite large. The people in this church are happy. I like that! There are many palm trees. They also have Saddleback students ministries. When I walked it seemed it was a beautiful place with trees and flowers. After church, people can play volleyball. A must see!

Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa is a terrific fellowship of Christian believers and teaches from Gods word in scripture. They have their Sunday services as well as numerous other services and ministries during the week.Family friendly and very welcoming to all people who wish to know about The Lord Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation for all of people. When the Diocese of Orange purchased the church and its 34-acre complex in 2012, Catholic leaders committed to respect the famous site’s legacy while transforming the unique building and grounds into the vibrant new heart of worship for the 1.3-million Catholics living in Orange County. The Christ Cathedral campus is a landmark beacon and growing spiritual center for the Christian faithful in Orange County and is filled with a collection of architecturally significant buildings. The buildings located on the 34-acre campus total almost 320,000 square feet. Buildings include the; Christ Cathedral, Arboretum, Large and Small Galleries, Tower of Hope, Crean Tower, Diocese of Orange Pastoral Center, and Cathedral Cultural Center. This won't cost you a dime, but your time...and it will be well spent! This place is beautiful, and its so refreshing to see all the nationalities represented here. The weather was amazing, we took some wonderful pictures, and it just felt good to be there.... I kept one of the bulletins from mass that was in at least 3 languages.... loved, it and it'as must go

St. John O'Sullivan was in charge of this mission in 1910, and he was the one to build it. The church is just a jewel in the middle of the mission. I love the grand golden retablo, it is very similar to the ones from the colonial period in Mexico. I also love the sculptures of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Juan Diego. This is a wonderful place to attend mass on Sundays.

Beautiful Mission style church built in the 30's & still mostly unchanged. Sunday service is traditional Presbyterian format followed by coffee hour in the Sodial hall. Good sermons, fresh flowers, new & traditional hymns. full choir with soloists. Three ministers +two parish associates. Close to cafe's and the firehouse at the end of the shopping streets. Nice congregation spans the age ranges. Involved in many important projects and outreach activities. Relaxed dress code. shorts & sandals OK>
