Both welcome centers are open seven days a week .The centers are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
We had a very good experience at the welcome center. We stopped in on our first day of vacation. The woman who assisted us was very nice and answered all of our questions. They are even giving out welcome bags with Orange Beach face masks!

Nestled among stately oaks on the shores of Wolf Bay, this campus features Alabama's only daily, open-access hot glass blowing facility where you can watch glass artists make beautiful hand blown works. Also available is The Clay Studio where you can work with our resident clay artist. Classes are also available in both studios. Our new 10,000 sq. ft. fine art gallery features Gulf coast artists. Oak trees draped in moss and stunning bayfront views make the grounds perfect for weddings and special events. The Art Center is also home for the highly regarded annual fine arts show "Festival of Art" of Orange Beach held the second weekend of March.
Fantastic Free place to see local art. Kids enjoys the Hot Shop and seeing the art at the gallery. The outside grounds are also beautiful.

We were there Jan-March. There are 28 miles of nature trails where you walk or bike and can see: Heron, pelicans, alligators, the endangered gopher tortoise, eagles and their young, a great horned owl and it's baby, lots of Osprey nests, etc. My husband even saw a bobcat.

We had heard from a friend we should try Blalocks on Canal Road for take out. We ordered 3 lbs of peeled, de-veined, tail- on shrimp with regular seasoning along with the other items listed in the title. Requested it be hot when we picked it up, which was about an hour. The dinner was for 4 adults and was outstanding! We had plenty leftover and the shrimp was great the next day cold. Highly recommend them!!!

To my shane I can't remember the name of the benefactor, but this was a brilliant play area. Children could climb, slide and fall all day, without getting bored. Is next to Arts Centre for adults

We love this little shop at the Wharf! The best jerky we have ever had. The hot is the perfect mix of spicy with a hint of sweetness. My kids love the pineapple jerky. Awesome service in this cute little shop!

Gulf State Park Alabama Point Beach Access Point East is owned and operated by Alabama State Parks. With ample parking, a restroom facility, dune crossovers, and seasonally operated food trucks you're sure to have a good time! We hope you enjoy your visit!
Perfect spot for little children because it’s the between the ocean and bay protected from the bigger waves. Under the bridge there is a shallow area perfect for wading toddlers and also the piers from which the teens to jump. We loved this area. Great access and balance. We took our canopy, cooler, chairs... There are restrooms showers and a few drink stands for lemonade or snow cones. We went back here the second beach day too!
