This is a beautiful waterfall and is an easy walk to view. It was winter when we stopped, but we will definitely come back in the summer.

We were on a road trip and not at all familiar with the area when we stopped by to take a look around and get some trail information. The guys here were so helpful. It was early in the season and lots of trails were still snow covered and they had all the current trail information and were able to give suggestions based on our skill level. We really didn't need to buy anything but we hunted around just for something to get because we felt like we owed them something for all the information. We had a great ride that afternoon and we will be back again some day for more riding in the area and if we need anything - this will be the place we stop! Great Crew!

We rented a tandem kayak for Waldo Lake. Never having been there before, I had some questions about where to put in, where to get a parking pass, etc. They were very responsive and made the rental process easy. We hope to return to Waldo lake soon and rent from them again.

Waldo Lake

Reviewed By NikoleEmerson - Tigard, United States

We did a dispersed camping trip at Waldo Lake in late July. We had been warned about the hordes of mosquitoes that attack visitors until late August/September, so we opted for the drier and windier northern shore (and took all precautions -- DEET, pretreated our clothes with Permethrin, had hat nets, etc.). Our campsite was on a little windy peninsula, so the mosquitoes weren't too bad. The second day, we kayaked to where the North Fork of the Middle Fork of the Willamette River starts and there were quite a few more mosquitoes (if only we had thought to bring our hat nets!). The water is breathtakingly beautiful -- so many different shades of blue and exceptionally clear. We will definitely be returning in years to come.
