We booked a private land cruise to canyon which was strange and unique place to see.
170$ for 2 person in private including blue hole snorkeling .
Leader was a nice guy .
It was not colored like pictures .
Some body told me that there is no more safari to old canyon and this is a new canyon which was without color .

We visited with Dahab Safari Daytours and this excursion was probably the best we did during our entire time in Sinai, combining off road driving and a decent amount of hiking through spectacular varied desert environments.
After an hour´s drive from Dahab we arrived at the entrance point to the White Canyon. At first I was a bit apprehensive when I discovered the descent involved ropes and ladders, but despite my weight and vertigo it proved to be fairly easy. The canyon is pretty deep and narrow in places, one of the most scenic we saw in Sinai. To walk down to Ain Khudra took less than 2 hours and was highly enjoyable on a cold January day (might be quite different during the hot season). We had a long lunch break at the oasis and the Bedouin food and tea were excellent. The contrast between the lush vegetation and the surrounding moonscape was breath-taking.
Weirdly shaped Mushroom Rock makes for a cool photo stop. After that we walked up the small coloured canyon. While it is less dramatic, the eroded canyon walls in many different shades of red and yellow were definitely worth seeing.
Our driver used genuine Paris-Dakar style in the desert. Great fun and bruised buttocks guaranteed!

Of the 9 Days I’ve spent in the Middle East, this was by far the highlight. Highly reccomend it. Felt safe the entire time and really got to know the tour guide and drivers (with some help from google translate occasionally!). All PADI, TDI and CMAS courses from very beginner to dive instructor are offered. Our filing statiuon is fully equipped for NITROX, Trimix and Rebreather diving. There are daily dive excursions to over 20 pristine dive sites, offering 1-4 daily-dives.

We are a group of 24 recently returned from a Diving holiday in Nuweiba Egypt. There were 19 divers in the group with some divers taking courses. We were looked after by African Divers who are located at the Swiss Care Hotel.
I was impressed with African Divers organisation and logistics arranging transport to and from our Hotel and Dive sites.
Their emphasis was on safety and fun which is what diving is all about. They supplied guides for every dive who gave excellent dive briefings as well as organising refreshments between dives and ensuring our safety. Oxygen and first aid kits were always to hand even though they were never needed.
We visited many dive sites and transport, equipment and tea was always on time. Any requests made of HAMDI at African Divers was always catered for where possible including two fabulous night dives and changes to dive sites at the last minute.
African Divers have a well stocked shop and a full range of rental dive equipment which is good quality and well maintained.
If good safe fun diving is what you want then I would HIGHLY recommend African Divers at Swiss Care resort Nuweiba. I was so impressed I am already starting to plan further trips there.

I have been there more than 6 times since I discovered this wonderful place 2 years ago.
The "Davids" that run the diving centre are so nice, friendly and above all professional.
I came with my kids (all divers), friends and by myself and always had great time, diving as much as I can, great diving sites, and at the same time relaxed with homey atmosphere. I cant think of a better place for divers and for people that just want to relax and feel at home.
Thanks David & David for being my little paradise!

this canyon will be trashed within the next few years, because tour guides don't pay any attention what the tourists are doing. it was clean until 2010, then the first graffity started to apper to the canyon walls.

What a day out----------------Even though it is known as Coral island [alot of TO go there], it is known as Pharoahs Island, It has the ruins of Sahladeens Castle which are fascinating to explore------------once on the island, after a very short boat ride, you are surrounded by four countries, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt----you can even see the huge Jordanian flag from there-the water surrounding the island is crystal clear but very deep-------------all in all a unmissable trip.!!!!!!
