One of the nicest waterfalls in the hill country with some breathtaking views. Its located approximately about 30km from Nuwara Eliya town and there's a 1.5km hike to reach to the top. This path is laid through a beautiful area with lots of trees and cold breeze. Recently they have built narrow, but a steady pathway which is easier for visitors to reach to the climax. There's a dedicated parking area at the bottom entrance. This could certainly be said as a must visit place in Nuwara Eliya.

Actually our favourite walk in Sri Lanka. Not remarkable. Not a huge tourist attraction. Just a delightful stroll amongst the tea plantations watching the tea pickers at work to a nice waterfall at the end. Lovely views over Nuwara Eliya and surrounding towns. Met some happy, smiling locals who wanted to have selfies with us. Finished with a tour of the Pedro Tea factory and a nice cuppa. Superb morning

This is an Agriculture Research Station..which is mainly culturing seed potatoes.which is a serious procedure so they will not allow any out side vehicle to enter inside.reason to avoid fungus, bacteria or any harmful threats for the potato production. Its a bumpy ride to the top..and its worth to see all the 9 mountains out of famous 10 of sri lanka if you are lucky with the climate. Top is very windy and cold so wear jackets and cover up the kids..
