Museum Pasifika: Selected Artwork of Asia Pacific is a tribute to the artistic and cultural heritage of the region and is a required resource for all interested in the fascinating and complex region we know as Asia.

This museum showcases some of the artistic history from the last 2 centuries where European and Asian culture has influenced Indonesia - in particular Bali. There are 9 rooms that consist of paintings, textiles and artefacts from those cultures. Each room is devoted to the particular country that has left its mark on Bali. We found the whole display to be very interesting. For those interested in the arts this visit would be highly recommended. Taking of photos are not allowed in the rooms but there are a collection of books that portray some of the artists on sale at the front desk. There is also a cafe there for snacks and drinks.

Mengiat Beach

Mengiat Beach is very nice and quite and relaxing. The beach area that we were at was very clean and had a nice view of the ocean. Unlike a lot of other Beaches in Bali, there were no locals trying to sell you souvenirs or give you cheap massages which made the vibe much more peaceful and enjoyable. You can walk south along the beach to look at the nice resorts or north up to Waterblow which is a tourist attraction where the waves crash up onto the rocks. Very relaxing!

This is a traditional white sandy beach.
Due to its lovely sand it has attracted lots of hotels along the shoreline and they all seem to share it the benefits for their guests.
Lovely to wonder along on this warm evening. Some might say romantic. A fellow guest was telling me it was lovely to
Walk Along this morning as the beach faces east and gets the sunrise.

Geger Beach is one of the cleanest beach of whole Bali...3000 rupiah ($ 0.2 ) you have to pay for enterance if you go from south door ; but if you come from Nusa Dua beach ; you do not pay for enterance..if you go by taxi ; max 50 K ( $3.5 ) from Tanjung Benoa ; from Kuta $7 max. When you arrive ; you will see sunbeds and umberellas...you have to pay 100K ($7) for 2 beds and one umberella...there is no other way ...there is no shadow on the whole beach...but when you compare to other beach on west Bali ; geger beach very very clean...and no local people...even no tourist much...

Water Blow

Staying at the Novotel Nusa Dua we booked out two bikes and took off around the beach front past the Hotels. Great fun. Riding past the beautiful Hotels and patrons of all shapes and sizes in bathers rather to small made for an interesting time. Stopped and had a coffee and drink along the path.
The Blow Hole is a nice garden area with boardwalks. The day we were there it was low tide and no swell, only air coming out the rocks.
Still very nice area to visit.
Turned around at Bali Collections and rode back to Hotel. Round trip about 2 hours. Thoroughly enjoyed and no traffic except for some pedestrians.
