What to do and see in North Holland Province, The Netherlands: The Best Educational sites

March 8, 2022 Jana Sager

Mostly jutting northward from its largest city of Amsterdam and its capital of Haarlem, the Noord-Holland region has much more to offer beyond those two wonderful cities. At Muiden is the magnificent Muiderslot Castle, as if it stepped out of a fairy tale. Showing more wear but no less interesting is Brederode Castle at Santpoort. At Zaanstad is Zaanse Schans, one of Holland’s top tourist destinations and a family-friendly open air museum of windmills, traditional buildings, crafts and shops.

Each of them brings a different side to the improvised comedy shows they put on and the results are always fantastic. With their workshops and classes, you can understand from their shows why they're so popular with the Amsterdam improv community." "Fabulous people, extremely friendly, extremely talented. I can't stop attending their improv workshops, comedy classes and shows!"

Easylaughs hosts super fun improv workshops and courses, and during COVID they are online :) I also love their shows, which have a variety of formats! I am an overplanner, over-thinker, and incredibly introverted, and I absolutely love improv. It's for everyone! It's a great way to get out of "adult mode" and just have fun. It helps you live in the moment, and it helps me be happier.

I really enjoyed visiting here - it was truly fascinating to see how the body works, it was interesting to have different elements of the body systems on different floors. Some very interesting exhibitions and interactive pieces to engage in. The staff were helpful, and it was very clean throughout. Really glad that I took time to visit here on my holiday to Amsterdam, a very interesting day trip.
