C'est Cheese

Reviewed By Maurene_K - Dover, United States

Shopping along US 1 from Portsmouth to Seabrook, C’est Cheese was one of my scheduled stops. C’est Cheese had a wide variety of European-style gourmet cheeses and other products, such as wines, pastas, meats, condiments, cookies, and sauces. The store also has cooking tools, kitchen gadgets, and cocktail napkins. I decided on a container of Port Wine Cheddar Cheese Spread at $6.95. Later, at home, I had some as an appetizer before dinner on some Pepperidge Farm Butter Crackers. It was delicious. The cheese had strong flavors of both sharp cheddar cheese and the port wine. It was quite tangy. I really liked it much better than the supermarket versions of port wine cheese spread. I will return to C’est Cheese to buy it again. As part of the shop’s seasonal decorations, there was a board with Santa’s Lists. One column was for the Nice List; the other was for the Naughty List. Nancy B. was at the top of the Nice List. I asked the women waiting on me who Nancy B. was. She was Nancy B. She was also the shop owner. Nancy B. was very nice, very helpful, and knowledgeable. I rate C’est Cheese at 5.0. I highly recommend a visit to all cheese-lovers. C’est Cheese is located on US 1 right near Lafayette Crossing with other shopping at Marshalls and the L.L. Bean Outlet.
