We had a family reunion with some visiting relatives from Sweden and we just walked in with a party of 12 people. The staff seated us a large long table and provided excellent service along with some excellent wine.

Great state park on the eastern end of the North Fork of LI. It has a nice beach on Gardiner's Bay, a bathhouse with showers and toilets, picnic tables and a play ground. Since there are trees there, you can sit in shadded areas if you are not a big fan of the sun. I went there to kayak in Hallock Bay which is a protected bay with about six miles of shoreline You can also rent kayaks there. if you bring your own kayak, make sure to stop by the rental shop to get the low down on kayaking at the park.

I come here yearly with my sister, BIL & their kids but due to covid restrictions this year, they did not allow kids which was a bummer but understandable. I believe they only take reservations now so do this before you arrive. When you arrive, you have to wait in your car until you get a text which then someone will get you and bring you in. You have to wear a mask walking in and anytime your server comes over. You also have to order one food item under new NYS law. Honestly, they are taking every single precaution necessary to make sure every patron feels safe during this time and I really appreciate that. Beyond the new protocols in place, more importantly their sparkling wines are delicious and they are always a highlight on my trip out east!

A throw back to my childhood on LI In NY. The carousel was a favorite as a child and doesn’t disappoint. Grab for the ring and have a blast. A real old school fun time for all.

Macari Vineyards & Winery, established in 1995, is family owned and operated with two tasting rooms and over 180 acres under vine. In the vineyard, the Macari family has strived to be on the cutting edge of viticulture, employing principles of environmentally friendly farming from the very beginning. Our Mattituck Tasting Room is open year round for winetastings. Wines are also available by the glass or bottle to enjoy in ourEstate Room or outside on our covered deck or picnic area. We offer cheeseplatters in season and light snacks are available in our gift shop.
If you need a mini-vacation and want to sample some wonderful wines along the way... Visit Long Island New York! This winery was a real find!

Celebrating 30 years, the Harbes Family Farm is a scenic country destination, set in the heart of the beautiful North Fork of Long Island, that offers country fun for everyone! Guests can experience family-fun activities in the Barnyard Adventure, fresh fruits, vegetables, and country foods at the farm stand, and award-winning wines in Harbes Vineyard's Wine Barn! During the Fall season, Harbes Family Farm is one of the area's premier Fall Festival locations
We love this place. We just started finally going out to places since COVID hit. We came here for their peach festival and watermelon festival this August. They have a lot to do for kids and adults. It’s initially free to walk in and walk around and get food. There is a place to get wine inside a wine bar. If you want to go to the bigger place inside, you have to pay per person. Kids under 2 are free. Inside the part that you have to pay, there is a kids car driving area, a place to feed animals, an obstacle course, a play area for sports, family size foosball, hay rides, jumbo jumpers, play ground, maze and pig races. One of our favorite foods here is the panini with mozzarella and cheese. It is so amazing. They also make really great lemonade - not too sweet or sour. The only negative experience we had was the girls who operated the ice cream place closed it early at 6:30 three times that we came here even though they close at 7 with no warning. The last time we went we made it because we learned they randomly can close early. Everyone else is really amazing here.
