I recently won a silent auction gift certificate to the Spa at Venetian Bay. From the moment I waked in the door, I felt like a VIP! Every detail down to the Sea Horse hooks were absolute perfection. My day started with the whirlpool, sauna and salt lounger... I highly recommend going early for some “self care”. Next I had an amazing massage with Mary. As someone who dislikes being touched on my back, she was very gentle and accommodated my need for a soft massage. I absolutely adore Mary and will return often for her amazing touch and soothing massage. Between services I had the most gorgeous Cobb Salad from the Happy Deli! It was Delish!!! My next service was an amazing facial with Alison. She is knowledgable and sweet... and guess what... I’m going back to Alison ASAP for the Arctic Berry Facial, maybe tomorrow. I can’t wait! This Spa is elegant, clean and the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of having services at. Well done! And thank you again Katie for donating to the Women’s Abuse Charity so I could bid and win this fabulous gift certificate. You and your staff are FABULOUS! ????- Right down time my kissy face photo after some lip plumper! ????

This is in a National Seashore, so you will need to pay for a day pass or show your annual National Park Pass as you enter. If it is on a holiday or warm weekend I suggest getting there as early as possible as parking fills up quickly on the Ocean beach side. Your first stop could be the Visitor Center with displays of the many flora and fauna in the area, including a touchable exhibit for kids of all ages. There you can sign up for special programs, including Turtle Watch, and find books, gifts and Junior Park Ranger supplies. There are also a number of quiet parking areas on the lagoon side of the park where you can find one or two picnic tables and short hikes through the vegetation or along the lagoon beach. The road ends after the last parking area, although the National Seashore continues down the coast where it can also be accessed from the Titusville area, near Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge.

This is a great place to just enjoy the fresh air and one of the local hot spots. Free in cost so bring your own food food/sporting supplies. Bathrooms are part of the park, just make sure you go in with your children (the world has bad people everywhere) just to be safe. Launch your canoe or raft here and enjoy the close mangroves with birds/crabs/fish and manatees. Be aware of local motorboats. Always have bug repellent with you just incase and always leave before the sun goes down - misquitos are part of Florida.
