Nice Place in Nellore, calm and quite place to experience spiritual bliss in a coastal town. You can purchase prasadam in temple premise, which is very tasty and devine. Evening is the best time to visit this place. There is a big bazar near this place, around one or two kilometers.

Nellapattu Sanctuary

Reviewed By DarkAngel_AA - Mumbai, India

If you are a bird lover then this place is a must to visit. I was here for Tirumala visit and I had put up in Tirupati. Hired a cab and reached the sanctuary in 2hours. I was lucky there was not a single visitor in the sanctuary. I visited on a weekday considering it’s covid I preferred a weekday to avoid crowd. They charged me 250 rupees which is very nominal (I had a camera). There are guides available incase you need. Birds spotted Pelicans, open bill storks, Black headed ibis, Ducks. March is the time when most of the birds leave the sanctuary.. the guide informed peak times is Oct -Feb. during November we can also spot few endangered species. I spent approx 3hrs exploring the sanctuary. Looking forward for my next visit in November
