Nea Iraklitsa beach is located in a long bay between Nea Peramos (Thessaloniki direction) and Palio Tsifliki (Kavala direction) villages. It is a long and wide beach with good yellow sand, rather shallow water and calm sea. It is a flat place without greenery. The area is surrounded by hills but in the near far. The beach could be divided in three parts. The middle one is organized, close to village center. It neighbors with a pedestrian zone full with restaurants and other attractions and a big parking (free in time of our visit). Near to this beach part is a big yacht port. The part to Palio is somehow “wild” one. You can access it on a car. In this part there are few frontbench villas and hotels. The third beach part is after the yacht port (Nea Peramos direction) – small one and with pebbles. Depending on where is your rental home in Nea Iraklitsa the distance to the beach varies well. If you reside in the central village part the organized part is closed. If you reside in surrounding hills the distance could be more then 500 m. The distance to Kavala is about 10 – 12 km.
