Nea Ionia (Greek: Νέα Ιωνία, meaning New Ionia) is a northern suburb of Athens, Greece, and a municipality of the Attica region. It was named after Ionia, the region in Anatolia from which many Greeks migrated in the 1920s as a part of the Population exchange between Greece and Turkey.

The BOX is a real life escape game where teams of 3 up to 6 players have to find and follow clues, solve puzzles & escape from a locked room using only common sense logic and the power of teamwork. We encourage you to think outside the box! Rely on your brains & intuition. Have confidence in yourself and your friends. Discover the secret that awaits you. The mind is the most most powerful weapon!
This place shows how the personal involvement of the game designers trumps any "recipe" branded room from franchises.
The haunted room in this place is a great bag of tricks. Swinging chandeliers, strange knocks on the door, haunted mirrors, a great soundtrack and some very original riddles and mechanisms!
The staff is also very friendly and show that they really put love into this business.

Amphibious Diving Center is a Classic. Theofilos, the instructor, goes above and beyond and teaches me things about scuba I didn't even know although I am definitely NOT a rookie when it comes to all things sea. He is professional, thorough, has a killer personality and I trust him, hands down. He emphasizes safety while diving. He is absolutely patient with us and does not push us beyond our capabilities and comfort levels. Each training day, he assesses our competency with a fresh eye and is always ready to give us feedback when we ask how we can improve.
Highly recommended.

Modern, uptodate building on the foot of the Acropolis housing important ancient Greek statues and much more
After visiting this excellent museum, I agree that the Parthenon Marbles should be returned from the British Museum. The top floor, built to house the marbles, and with a few of the originals and reproductions of the rest, is worth the price of admission alone. The views of the Acropolis from the 4th floor and the outdoor restaurant are amazing. There were visitors and school groups from all over the world at the museum. Staff were excellent. Restaurant food was good. Note: tickets are 1/2 price Nov - March, but hours are shorter.

When we visited this mall in Maroussi at noon time, we were surprised to see that the mall was very quiet and not so crowded. Anyway, this mall is one of the right addresses in this area for shopping, eating and entertaining. There are a lot of shops, cinemas and a food court with a cosy Italian restaurant as well.

The majestic ruins of an ancient Greek building, known for its dignified white marble columns and perfect sense of proportion.
Restaurations continue of this remarkable tempel, and scaffolding covers one of the short sides. Nevertheless, the impression is striking when you get up close and the magnitude of this building becomes obvious. Severely damaged by ear and vandalism, it remains majestic.
You can get an even better understanding of it's history by visiting the nearby Acropolis Museum.

I really enjoyed it there. The music is nice and not to loud so you are still able to talk. The atmosphere, the decoration and the furniture is really nice and the menu has something for everybody.

The most famous site in all of Athens, this large hill lies in the center of the city and contains a cluster of ancient ruins.
Awesome experience. Were pleasantly surprised to be charged a reduced fee of €10 instead of €20, think this was the winter season price, ending on 31 March. Be sure to visit the clean toilets at the entrance (Plaka side) before you go as there’s no facilities once you’re up there!
