This is expensive but so worth it. How many opportunities does one get to cuddle and kiss dolphins and sea lions? A once in a lifetime adventure. The island is beautiful, our host Juliano was wonderful, Precious our dolphin trainer was great, and Goombay the dolphin, Jack and Charlotte the Sea Lions and Diamond the stingray were so much fun to interact with.

Beautiful beach lots of fun water sports available nice and clean beautiful water get to the beach early because the lounge chairs and umbrellas go quickly staff is very accommodating and will do their best to help get you settled on the beach

When planning our trip to the Atlantis resort we weren't sure what was open and what was closed. This review will reflect what was open at Aquaventure during our trip the week of March 20th 2021. Acquaventure water park - The water park was operating at a reduced capacity during our stay. You were always able to find plenty of seating through out the day. The Mayan Temple slides, (Serpent Slide, Challenger Slides, Jungle Slides and The Leap of Faith) were open four days a week (Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri) and the Power Tower slides (The Abyss, The Surge, The Drop and The Falls) and The Current (Rapids River surrounding the Power Tower) were open three days a week (Tues, Thur, Sat). The Splashers pool was open every day. The Baths Colonnade Pool, the pool complexes at the Coral and Beach towers were closed. We were able to use all beaches including the Cove Beach. Lines were minimal at all slides during our week. We had a great time each day at the water slide and other attractions. The lifeguards are fun and entertaining, the pool wait staff hustles and are eager to serve. We want to call out Don one of the pool wait staff! He saw me walking to get food and said what do you want and I’ll get it for you. I said, “we’re sitting way over there, over the river and through the woods” (there wasn’t a food location open where we were sitting) He said no problem! I’ll find you. I gave him our order and he tracked us down, literally over the rapids river and across the beach! He came back later and asked if we needed anything else and then found us the next day again. Use the pool wait staff. They are eager to serve and glad to be back working. Give them a little extra to support them and their family who have just experienced almost a year of no work. There were plenty of pools and attractions open during our stay to ensure the days were eventful. We had a great time at Aquaventure!

I walked with tour guide Vernita through the park, remains of slave quarters and family houses, and into a garden of local plants and medicinal herbs. She made these stories come alive and told them with compassion through all the contradictions of history. Wishing her well and looking forward to going back to visit this meaningful and visually stunning place. It was my favorite place in Nassau - great for contemplation, quiet, and watching a breathtaking sunset against the ocean cliffs.

This weekend we took a cruise to Nassau, Bahamas. Looking for things to do when getting off the ship we searched trip advisor to find things to do asides from the typical excursions offered by the cruise line. Best decision ever. Thank you Marvelous tours. Our tour guide Marvin was amazing. Marvelous uses a nice newer clean ford transit 350 passenger van with great air conditioning. (Most other tours driving around use some sketchy looking busted vans that look like they are transporting prisoners.) Marvin was very funny, very accommodating (provided cold water bottles and battery powered fans mid-tour thankfully, it was HOT), and more importantly very knowledgeable of his hometown. We went to the tea shop, rum cake shop, fort fincastle with shops, rum distillery, queen staircase, Atlantis, along with drive-by’s of various monuments and important buildings. Marvelous tours made our time in Nassau fantastic. I highly recommend this tour if you want to have a great time. Thank you Marvin and Marvelous Tours!!

It poured rain the day we visited so there weren't many people. We got some real close up experiences with the animals. Highlights were feeding the lory parrots, the marching flamingos, the flamingos in the wild, and peacocks and parrots that are out in the open around the center.

It’s truly one of the island’s best beaches with crystal clear water, silky fine sand and not the crowds that you’ll find at other beaches. One caveat: no lifeguards. Public access to Cabbage Beach is by the Paradise Island Beach Club, another hidden treasure, where I stayed.

True Las Vegas style casino with a full choice of gaming and all limit levels. If you have been to the Bellagio casino in Vegas, then you will immediately see the similarities in decor, design, lighting and colours. Smoking is allowed and so will bother some people. Table limits are usually at $15 minimums. Plenty of machine types and limits from a penny to a hundred dollar minimum. Very good sports book section with giant screens and bar with the usual selection of sports bar food. Dry rub wings are excellent. All hotels have direct access with the SLS having the closest access.

If you are looking for a beach to visit within walking distance of the cruise port then this is the place for you !! Take a 15 minute walk to the right once leaving the cruise port and you will find this free public beach.. We decided to rent 2 beach chairs and umbrellas and enjoy a few drinks while the kids swam and gathered shells in the warm ocean. There are plenty of vendors here offering drinks, food, and even massages. We enjoyed this place for the 4 hours we were here and stopped to do a bit of shopping on the walk back to the ship !! So worth the walk in the warm sun !!
