Upper Delaware River

This is my second drive thru the area this month. Well worth it. Very scenic with a number of stops along the way including Roebling's Delaware Aquaduct, Skimmer's Falls and other historic sites like the Corwin Farm to explore. Also several walking paths along what used to be the D & H Canal. The ranger at the Corwin Farm was very helpful with other things to see along the way.

Skinners Falls

Stopped here during the week. It wasn't too busy, but I imagine it will be very busy on a weekend. There are tubes to rent for a trip thru the falls - which are actually more of a rapids. You can also walk on a path along the river that will take you to Skinner's Falls Beach. There you can walk on rocks into part of the river. The walk is $1, but well worth it. The $1 walking fee is included in the rental cost of a tube.
