A lovely historical place with amazing views from different aspects along the way. There are some lovely forested sections up the top. Unfortunately a lot of it is sectioned off for construction work.

17th century baroque, Jesuit church. Fantastic vaulted ceiling, restored to its former glory. One of the 3 locations in Namur of the Vices and Vertus exposition till 21.05.2017. Interesting works of Aidan Salakhova of sculptures in Carrera marble.

We’ve found this park by chance. You pay a cheap entrance fee and then enjoy nice Playgrounds, activities, clean and new toys. Definitely to recommend!

If you are interested in very old religious art and in particular gold reliquaries and wooden carvings you will find this small museum worthwhile. It is situated within the city on the main shopping street. There is also interesting information about the building itself and its stucco exterior.

We’d walked through this square several times during our outing in Namur and noticed the statues and Fountains, all seemingly somewhat run-down with the "triste charme" of Belgian towns.
Later at home I learned that two cartoon-figure-looking statues at one end of the square were of cartoon figures created by a native of Namur, and also found out the reason for the huge snail next to one of them: the snail is the patron of Namur.

Perhaps now most well known for the fabulous 13th century silverware Trésor d'Oignies (see separate TripAdvisor entries), there is much else to see at this lovely provincial museum: from some amazing wood sculpture altar pieces (one in particular - I speak from an artistic, not religious perspective), great brassware, interesting 16th century paintings (watch out for the repeated motif in those by Bles) and much more that one would more or less expect. Panels on the ground floor give much of the background (I think only in French). None of it is too extensive and so one can cover quite a bit of variety in a 1-1½ hours.
We also visited the temporary exhibition of more modern art in the gallery at the roadside end of the courtyard, which was well worth doing and provided a good contrast.
The museum is right off one of the min shopping roads in the centre of Namur.

Built in the 2nd half of the 18th century, late baroque style. The presence of colourless glass combined with the white rendering within the dome gives the Cathedral a very bright interior. Needs to be visited during a sunny day to witness and enjoy the Italian style grandeur.

L'ambiance de la porte d'entrée à la sortie, tout est magique! Le personnel est accueillant, disponible et efficace ! Le spectacle d'hier est superbement joué, les artistes à l'écoute des étudiants! Merci à tous, nous reviendrons! Babciou.

I found It. Hard to find info and harder to find the way in the wold forest. When you find the entry there's a long path about five miles and you really don't know where this will take. There's a second property with a big villa in the distance but nobody cares. You will walk about 1 hour then you will find the ruind. It tales your breath away -. so romantic so magic so wow - Sorry abour the disasters that the owner made inside - they took away all the quality things and left the wall falling down - but the miracle is the castle is still alive to tell us about his history. The Owners dont' want to sell it and nobody in town knows It really strange thing. So if you love adventure try the way to find it
