Governor's Palace Museum

This is one of the places that must be visited if in Island of Mozambique. A true look back into the history of the Island and of Mozambique as a country. It is a shame that some of the items and rooms of the building are in a bad state of conservation, but apparently there is not enough funds to rehabilitate and conservate.

The fort is well maintained and a great place to know the history of Mozambique. You will have to pay a entry fee of MT200 but it's worth it. Make sure you climb on the roof and walk toward the Sea side, amazing view.
