It is an important tourist attraction and one of the most famous pilgrimage centres for Buddhist in the Nagpur City . It was built at the place where Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar went back to Buddhism along with his followers.It is the biggest stupa in Asia.The main hall of the stupa has an idol of Buddha at the centre.

This is a nice place to frequent. It happened to be just nearby NIT Nagpur. When we were studying there we used to visit Ambazari lake in most evenings. This is a well maintained garden on the banks of Ambazari lake near Subhashnagar. The ambience is nice with people visiting the place along with families. A lovely evening can be spent along with friends, family or fiance. Auto & bus are available to visit this place.
