Lala port Shin-misato is very much like any other department store you will go to. Its small but has everything you need for an enjoyable day of shopping. A few resturants, food hall offers plenty of choice as well as a Mcdonalds and Subway resturant.
If your looking for some homely foods it also contains a Kaldi for imported food (I go for the Vegemite )
What sets this Lalaport apart is it is home to Ikea and Costco.

The junction for the Tobu urban park line and Tsukuba express line.
The shopping center is large and very clean. Its an enjoyable place for a dayout shopping and enjoy a movie. It is a large shopping center, with plenty to see and do, and sometimes offer interactive activities for those young and old.
Just 2 stops away from Kashiwa on the Tobu Urban park line.

I went yesterday,a weekday.The hydrangeas are at their peak.The ones in full sun were slightly past their peak.
The irises were completely finished.
It is off the beaten track and there weren't many people.I was the only Westerner.
I saw the hydrangeas at Hakone today and I prefer Hondoji.
There are a lot of maples so it is probably nice in autumn too.
The nearest station is Kita-Kogane (JR).

A very beautiful park where you can experience the best of Nature. Every season it offers a wonderful scenic beauty. It has the famous Rose Garden with a variety of roses. Worth a watch just before Summer. Autumn too has its charms and in winter the snow clad parts are beautiful too.

東武アーバンパークライン、運河駅からすぐ近くにある利根川と江戸川を結んだ日本初の西洋式運河だそうで。遊歩道があり、これからの季節は桜が楽しめます。散歩にに最適なのでお勧めです。

小林一茶が数十回訪れ滞在した秋元双樹邸。
解体修理し、再現したという表現になっていますがどの程度当時の材料を使っているのかは不明です。
茶室はあるものの一般入館者は抹茶を頂けないのが残念です。
二階の資料もやや物足りないかな？

This firework display is held over the river bed of the Edo River, which flows along the border of Saitama prefecture. The highpoint of the event is the music and light performance called the Sky Musical. The appearance of message fireworks, which spell out messages before they launch, really stirs up the crowd. The fireworks are visible across the entire area of the river bed and the venue buzzes with people. The venue can be reached on foot from Nagareyama Station and Heiwadai Station. There is also a free shuttle bus from Nagareyama Central Park Station on the Tsukuba Express Line.

天候不良で2017年は一日延期で8月20日に開催されました。
千葉県と埼玉県の県境である江戸川の広い河川敷で開催される。花火と音楽がシンクロする「流山スカイミュージカル」やスターマインが多いのが特徴。
埼玉県三郷市と同日開催で、対岸の4000発と合わせて約1万4000発になる。
大会会場の周辺には、歴史的な建造物や古民家を改装したカフェレストラン等もあり、住民手作りの切り絵行灯が約90基近く設置されており、趣き深い町並みも楽しめます。

高台にある寺に到着して、まず、びっくりするのは金剛力士像を安置する仁王門。赤い建物の上に空色の分厚い屋根がのっかった、その存在感は抜群です。
太平記を題材に描いた俵藤太百足退治の大絵馬も拝見したかったのですが、それは非公開。ただ、お寺のパンフレットの表紙になっていたので、それで確認しました。
