If the mention of Mykonos doesn’t immediately bring to mind bright white buildings, turquoise skies and tanned bodies lining golden sandy beaches, you’ve been living under a rock. The most popular Greek Island in the Aegean Sea is all about energy and attracts a diverse and upscale crowd that thrives on its stylish nightlife. During the day some privacy can be had in the more secluded north beaches, but the south beaches are all party. Ski, jet-ski, windsurf, horseback ride, parasail or just save up your energy for the evening ahead, like most of your fellow travelers in Mykonos.

For my 35th birthday this september I reserached and researched the web to find the best cruise to take with my friends for an sunset experience. After thoughtfully comparing all the companies I decided to contact and book with Ari. They have been so service minded, responded quickly, listened to my wishes and found solutions. I was so much looking forward to this trip! However Covid-19 happened and unfortunately I had to cancel the trip to Greece and therefore contacted Ari again. Once again, even though they are suffering from these hard times and cancelled trips, they showed me nothing but understanding, service minded and fast replies again. We were able to find a solution and even though we are not coming this year, I am certain that when (not if) Im actually able to go to Mykonos I will book a cruise with them. Loyalty and high service is very important to me, therefor I would personally really recommend them. Best of luck, I hope to see you soon!

This was our second time in Mykonos as this was a stop on our Mediterranean cruse. So instead of booking a shore excursion, we just walked around the port area, shopped, and had some snacks and a drink. It's a lively place in high tourist season.

Explore the most fabulous island of the Aegean Sea with the blue sky, the beautiful sugar houses and the amazing beaches. We start this tour by getting orientation and information in the labyrinth of the old town as well as impressions of the small port and the churches in town. Of course we will see the famous wind-mills. After this we are exploring the island with a bus, visiting some of the most famous beaches and the inner landscape. We see fishermen and kaikis, small private chapels and houses built in typical cycladic style. In the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera, an idyllic place 6km from town, you will have enough free time for a stroll around the traditional square and for a visit at the monk’s monastery of Panagia Tourliani, built in the 16th century. Next stop is Kalafatis beach where there is time to relax a little and have a coffee or a refreshment and to reach a place with a fantastic view all over the town and neighbour islands, before going back to town.

Tafalgar took us all around to see the must-sees. However, I would not use this company again. Local guides were promised, but not provided. The stays at supposedly 5 star hotels were ok, but the rooms did not even have facial tissue or wash cloths. Free time for lunch meals was not a free time. We were taken to a spot, often in the middle of nowhere and had to make due with the menu there. Time allotted for some attractions, like the Acropolis Museum, were for only 1/2 hour - barely time enough to get in the door.
We get orientation and information in the labyrinth of the old town as well as impressions of the small port and the churches in town. Of course, we will see the famous wind-mills and find Petros The Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos. After this we are visiting some of the most famous beaches and the inner land- scape. Highly recommend this tour of Greece if you want to see some of the highlights - Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. There are many transfers (from airport to hotel, hotels to ferries, etc), and this tour helped to make them seamless. There was a great level of flexibility, and at the same time the schedule also made sure you got to see what you were hoping to see. For example, in Santorini, there was a full day tour, which included a winery, beautiful views, and Oía at sunset (aka the gorgeous view that everyone has photos of)- if we had been on our own, it would have been challenging to get back to the hotel after staying late at Oía, though thanks to the tour we just hopped on a bus.
The Ultimate Souvenir. Mykonos is the cosmopolite gem of Aegean Sea with picturesque alleys, whitewashed miniature chapels, and perfect blue seas and skies! Whether you’re jet setter, a cruise visitor, or an alley wanderer, Mykonos is full of pleasant surprises. It is so exciting since you are already visiting the island to cherish everything: the locals, culture, natural beauty, and poetic language. The best way to capture these moments is by booking a Mykonos Photo Tour. I am glad that you are with me for this journey.
Inclusions: 2 hours photo session - usb stick with all the photos - 50 photos edited and photoshopped via email
Exclusions: Snacks

With good air or ferry connection to Athens and other islands, Mykonos is the second most visited island of Greece, after Santorini.
