Mountlake Terrace is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It is a northern suburb of Seattle and lies north of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park, east of Edmonds, south of Lynnwood, and west of Brier. Its southern boundary runs along the King County line. Interstate 5 runs north-south through the city, and services the city via three exits. The population was 19,909 at the 2010 census.

We went on a recent Sunday afternoon and pulled into a near empty parking lot. We quickly realized it was obviously due to the football game. The resulting benefit was the added enjoyment of a less than half filled theater. Also, Cinebarre has upgraded their food and beverage service call system. In the past, you would prop your order slip upright on the bar table in front of your seat and then wait for servers to notice. Now, there is a call button evenly spaced along the tables. Service is now faster and you don’t have employees roaming the aisles. Today, I ordered the potato skins and they were great.

Very good shopping here. Liked the Made in Washington shop. Loved the Savory Spice Shop. Nice mix of upscale and middle price shops to choose from. Had a very enjoyable afternoon shopping here. Away from the traffic in the Seattle area and very easy drive to get there.

Quaint little village of shops and restaurants- love the center area of ponds and running water with ducks - Great Place for small children plenty places and activities for them - worth a trip if in the area ! It was fun !

We came back to our favorite local workout site. From the park entrance to the lower parking lot, there is a stair climb of 188 steps. It also has several exercise stations at the stair breaks and a counter board at the top. It’s rarely crowded and the view beats your stair stepper any day.

We stayed in Edmunds while in the area for a weekend of ball games. It’s a cute little town with a great promenade along the water with a great little playground for the kiddos! You can watch the ferry’s and other boats enjoy time at the beach and park area! It would be a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon with a picnic outside the hustle of Seattle

Went for a walk and found a treasure that was always in my backyard. My wife and I spent three hours exploring the many trails, meadows and features of this very urban park. It goes mostly unexplored and vacant even on the weekends. We even were able to hike down a little creek hopping from rock to log. Wonderful indeed.

The overlook has a good sized parking lot, there are some picnic tables here to spend some time and enjoy the view.
The lake is gorgeous and the views all around are beautiful.
You wouldn't need to spend much time here, but it is absolutely a must when driving the North cascades highway.

This theater has been around for a long time. It shows current films a few weeks after they've finished their first run in major theaters and indie films. The ticket prices are very inexpensive ($4 at the time of this review for standard films; there's an up-charge for 3D) although you do pay a premium for concessions. The best value for concessions is the large size of popcorn and soda which includes unlimited refills. The theater is old, but is in the process of being renovated. It is in a nice neighborhood and the clientele and staff were friendly and courteous. We saw The Martian in theater one (of four) and the seats were brand new and comfortable. The screen was plenty large enough and the experience was great. There is fair amount of parking at the theater and plenty of parking in the nearby neighborhood. We had no trouble finding a place to park. This theater is a great value and we definitely plan to return.

The fishing pier is the happening place in Edmonds. Plenty of fisher-people, and their children, structures for fish cleaning, and a great stop to see Edmond's iconic silver fish flying between the walk out to the pier and the ferry boat landing. Walk from Marina Park all the way down Sunset Avenue, and back, note the public art (bronze seals, families, children in boat, etc) and watch the sun set over the Olympics. A little bit of heaver on earth.

Spin Alley is a real gem in Shoreline! The property is modern, clean, and welcoming with no vestages of an old-time bowling alley. The staff really enjoys their work and it shows; we were greeted like friends and quickly assigned shoes and an alley. The bowling facility is clean, modern, and appointed with all the goodies you want - electronic scorekeeping and lots of big screen TVs. We didn't miss one play of Sunday's big game.
The food was excellent and in no way remined us of bowling-alley food. This place breaks the mold. Food and drink service to our lanes was excellent. And we didn't have to pay the outrageous prices of the yuppie places to have just as good a time.
We'll be back to Spin Alley many more times!
