Morpeth Gallery

Located in the historical village of Morpeth in the Lower Hunter Valley, Morpeth Gallery has an excellent selection of fine traditional Australian landscape & wildlife art by internationally and nationally acclaimed artists. The gallery specialises in investment art with pieces which appreciate over time. The gallery opened in 1991 as a part of the Campbell's Store Craft Centre complex.

Morpeth has a number of very interesting places to visit and wander through both on the Main Street and in the little laneways. This gallery is one of those side excursions that will reward your time with a number of experiences. There is something for just about everyone including artworks, toys and local foods. I was impressed with the ginger beer tastings and left with a number of bottles.

Miss Lily's Lollies

Who doesn't like checking out lollies from your childhood? There were every time of flavour you could imagine, both Aussie favourites as well as European and American too. Admittedly not cheap but it's worth paying a little extra to take a trip down memory lane!
