We were a little early for dinner and wandering around town found this place. It is superbly stocked with wines and spirits, priced from the affordable to “oh my!” The bar seating is scattered around the shop in small, warm, clusters, allowing people to have a drink and a nibble on some lovely snacks, with friends or family, while allowing the casual shopper to pop in to purchase a bottle or two for the weekend. The owner was very attentive, and even forgave me my dreadful French, providing me with a glass of delicious red wine, which I could have topped up several times had we the time. The whole experience was set off by some quiet jazz music, in no way intrusive, rather turning it from a shop, to somewhere to relax and spend some time. If you are in town, find time to pop in and have a wine, or two!
