This is a gem tucked away behind the fairgrounds. Lots of farm equipment and remnants of days gone by. The docent was friendly and knowledgeable. Take a moment and stop by- you won’t regret it.

When we came, it was very empty. This ended up being a great treat, as we got to spend the afternoon just quietly looking at the animals around. There were lots of them, with good descriptions and facts on display for educational purposes. It's about $8 entrance right now, and you can't handle of any of the animals, which is unfortunate, but it's nice to see the steps they're taking for safety.

As others have mentioned, the playground is top-notch. We also really enjoy the path that offers great views of birds visiting the lake.
