South West Coast Path - Culver Cliff Woodland Walk

An invigorating 1.3 mile climb on the South West Coast Path through mixed woodland, rich in wildlife and with magnificent views out across the Bristol Channel. The return route drops gently downhill along a Victorian drive built by the Luttrells of Dunster Castle. There is an optional adventurous detour for keen geologists if the tide is low.

Beautiful views and wonderful countryside, there are dozens of footpaths that lead upto and around North Hill from Culvercilff. The going is a little steep in places but manageable by taking rest at the numerous benches.

Luckyard Farm

We stayed in Farmhouse for 4 days but wish we could have stayed longer. Very highly recommended. On arrival, we were greeted very warmly by the owners who live in the adjoining cottage. Everything was clean, cosy and comfy, there was milk in the fridge and tea and coffee on hand too. The kitchen was fully equipped with a lovely Rayburn stove ready for us. Adrian and his family made our stay very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for them. Despite their busy schedule on a working farm, Adrian kindly gave us a tour of the farm and the boys a ride on the Steffie the pony. It was a lovely break away from the noise and light pollution. We just had to step out in the courtyard to see the awesome night sky spectacle filled with stars and planets ! They are very knowledgeable about the area and kindly gave us tips on where we could get great views or see the red deer. We couldn't have asked for better hosts, accommodation, and things to do. We cannot wait to return. Thank you so much.
