The Blue Mountain Cidery

Blue Mountain Cider Company produces handcrafted artisan style hard apple ciders. Our ciders are less filling than beer and lower in alcohol than wine, and are always gluten free. They are a refreshing alternative to beer and wine and are a perfect compliment to a variety of different foods. Our goal is to reintroduce our customers to the history and tradition that our forefathers enjoyed - hard apple cider. Open Daily for Tasting: 11am-5pm

Zerba Cellars

We went to Zerba on a weekday and were the only couple tasting the wines at that time. The tasting area is very small but nicely appointed. The two ladies that were working there were very nice and generous with the pours. Tastings are $10.

This was return visit as we had been 2 years before and the memory of their Cabernet Franc reeled us in. As good as their Cab Franc is their Carmenere may be better. They have a tasty lineup of whites and reds, and while the tasting room is not luxurious, the wines were as good as any of the 10 plus vineyards we hit on this trip. The host knew his stuff and provided us with details to heighten the tasting experience.Their shipping rates were reasonable and so were the prices on their wine. They have specials that are a bargain, like the Chances R Chardonnay $120/case in the tasting room. Their patio area is great for a picnic so go to restaurant (ours was the Walla Walla Bread Co. -Yum!!) and relax in the shade. Save some time to visit Blue Mountain CiderCo. Just walk across the parking lot. Give yourself an afternoon for these 2 places and you won't be disappointed.
