Visited Milos with my family ie. myself + wife + 5 year old kid, and we had a good time. We stayed at Papikinou Beach as a base and took daily trips to different locations. For our son the beach at Papikinou was perfect, offering shade under the trees and close to our accommodation. For myself, I do not like the idea of being close to the street and close to the port, however its still surprisingly clean and quiet. In the evening , if our son wanted to spend some more time playing n the sand or swimming , this beach was always close by and clean. The food was good everywhere we went to. We visited Plaka and had a very nice afternoon stroll enjoying the quiet streets and nice views. It was very sunny and hot so ensure you apply protection. The building and streets are lovely here and there is a vast selection of cute restaurants. Pollonia was cute also, with a sandy beach and lots of restaurants, here we also enjoyed a walk around the small neighborhood. To visit numerous beaches we used the hop on-hop off bus. We did not manage to visit all the beaches we had planned originally but considering we had our 5 year old son with us we had to avoid beaches which are less accessible. We were there in July and there were some beautiful long sandy beaches with only 25 people in total. Super relaxing , clean and quiet. We really enjoyed it and i surely recommend it.
