Milan Dragway

This is an older race track but kept up very well. There is plenty of free parking. Concessions are reasonable. Bathrooms are not fancy but are clean. During races there is minimal downtime as they continually race. Accidents or track issues are cleaned/fixed quickly. They race a variety of vehicles and motorcycles here. If you like drag racing this is a great place to go!!

Like any Cabela's this is a great store. Plenty of awesome things to blow your paycheck on. This location has a wonderful large array of taxidermied animals from all over and they are very well done. There is also a nice little restaurant that has really good elk burgers and ostrich burgers.

Very comfy reclining chairs. Because of this, even the front row is a good seat. It is very cold in there -- bring a blanket. To get snacks, there is one line to order food, another line to pay, another line to serve yourself your drink, and a separate area for alcoholic drinks. I cannot fathom why they think this is a better system as it is extremely slow and inefficient even when you are the only person in line(s).

What a beautiful gift shop. It's not just Christmas merchandise. It's a very big place and rooms just filled with great gift ideas. The staff was friendly and very helpful . I'm so glad we stopped and of course we didn't leave empty handed.

Although undergoing some landscape renovations, the Law School Quad is worth walking through. Make sure to visit the Law Library, which extends several floors underground in the expansion from about 1980. It is wonderful to walk below and see the grand architecture looming above. The Great Hall is also wonderful--reminds me of some of the great universities of Europe.

I lived in Ann Arbor for 12 years. I went to undergrad and grad school at UM and loved my time there. The SNRE, PitE, SoE and RC are my real homes. If you are looking into a small school "within as school" feeling, you should check out the residential college in East Quad. The Secondary Masters of Education program is also top notch.

Rolling Hills Water Park

Reviewed By JamesNurkka - Jackson, Michigan

This place is fantastic! Here's a few tips right of the get go. Bring a blanket, towels, lawn chairs and a cooler with water. That'll cover all the rental fees and provide you with shade and keep you hydrated.

They actually have concessions here and they're not badly priced at all. You can bring a cooler with only water into the park but you can have a cooler with a packed lunch if you like to go that route and leave it in the car. They're are shaded picnic benches around the parking lot and you can get your hand stamped for re-entry.

The park has three large slides for teens and a nice size wave pool along with a nice splash pad and playground with various water activities on it a wading pool and very nice size sand box also. Of course nice bathroom facilities and the only downside is limited shade trees to place your lawn chairs and blankets under. Arrived early and get a shade spot park opens at 10:45 and if your not first in line shade will be hard to come by.

All of my children had a fabulous time. This is the best value outdoor waterpark in all of Michigan in my opinion. Actually it's prolly the best value water park I've been to in the entire nation.

The cost is very cheap especially compared to the size of the park and the number of activities available!

Anyway check out some of the video reviews on YouTube too.

Enjoy your experience and if you have any questions just ask :)
