Paid them a visit on one of their non-train operating days and discovered that their exhibits cover more than just the local railways. Wasn't expecting to find displays on wartime life in the area (both WW1 & WW2) along with a preserved WW2 Pillbox within the site. Apart from the preserved staion buildings & signal box, there are items of rolling stock on display, a seperate museum display building, the preserved Pillbox and a carriage serving refreshments. Very friendly and welcoming staff, so I would highly reccommend a visit if you are in the area.
