We had a great visit to 50 West. I love how they are doing tastings and highly recommend they create an option for something similar post-Covid. It’s so nice to take your tasting back to your table and enjoy slowly, rather then up at a tasting bar. The pup enjoyed herself too!

Chrysalis Vineyards at The Ag District

Chrysalis Vineyards at the Ag District offers a wide selection of artisan wines, cheeses, meats, & prepared hot and cold items all grown on the property. We're strong supporters of the Norton grape, for which we have the world's largest planting. Virginia's climate offers perfect conditions for Norton to thrive in, and we've experimented and zeroed in on other premium varieties like Albariño, Viognier. Tannat, Petit Verdot and Nebbiolo that thrive here, as well.

Chrysalis opened up in Phase 2 of Covid. Can’t praise them enough for all the precautions for cleanliness. The wine is excellent and the food selection equally as good. They even do Pizza. Patrick , the manager is above and beyond to make everything run smoothly .. look forward to returning soon. Thank you to all who work there

The Boxwood Winery

Reviewed By Smithie83

We've been to a lot of wineries through the years and at many, the crowds, chaos and noise have posed challenges to truly enjoying wine tasting. Many vineyards, it appears, are more about attracting crowds and building volume than creating a memorable experience. We visited Boxwood Winery for the first time yesterday and had such a great experience in all aspects of our visit. It is a jewel of a boutique winery that has a focus and purpose to its creations rather than trying to be everything for everybody. There is a tasting room but you can also venture outside to a smaller bar as well as have someone come to your table. The outdoor area is quite attractive and you can look out over the vineyards. The ambience is great and the pace and atmosphere are very relaxing. We were immediately greeted by Erin who was such a delight - so welcoming and friendly. She was very attentive and always kept her eye on us in order to time the tasting to our pace. We never had to wait or ask for our next flight. The tasting menu is comprised of 6 wines and we really enjoyed 5 of the 6. There are also 3 choices of light fare to help balance the alcohol and the croissant sandwich was quite tasty. We ended up joining the wine club and walking away with 6 bottles after we toured the vineyards, cellar and bottling rooms. I definitely recommend this winery for those who want to enjoy wine tasting in the most conducive of environments. The products and employees round this out into the perfect wine experience.

Cana Vineyards and Winery

Reviewed By clanzaro - Ashburn, United States

Cana winery for the location, view and price is in my opinion the best winery in Loudoun. The food is good as well, I would recommend to the establishment better music and hiring another person or two to go to table to sell food and wine, waiting is sometimes a pain. Get there early to get a spot!
