I love shopping at Root, especially around the holidays. There is always so much to see and choose from. The candles do not smoke or leave soot and there are a great variety of seasonal scents. Gift shopping is easily done here!

Buckeye Woods Park

Reviewed By 48nwhn - Medina, United States

This is a wonderful park, as are all parks in the Medina County Park system. There is a wide variety of things to do - hiking, of course, through Buckeye Woods as well as the adjoining Schleman Reserve which has great trees including one of the largest Burr Oaks in the state, At the north end of the park is an expansive wetland area where one can see all kinds of waterfowl - geese, wood ducks, herons etc. In the center there are athletic fields, playgrounds, a fishing spot on the lake. To the south is a long trail that parallels Chippewa Inlet. Many of the hiking trails do double duty as beautifully maintained bike paths. The park is a botanist's paradise with a colorful and ever-changing display of indigenous wildflowers.

Medina Toy & Train Museum

Reviewed By Porthos7 - West Chester, United States

This is really more of a model train store that has some toys, one of a kind finds, museum "pieces" and most certainly everything to do with model trains. So don't go thinking it's a "museum" per say, but STILL worth a stop if you're in the area! Go have fun!
