Planetario Johannes Kepler

Reviewed By Marcos R - Sao Caetano do Sul, SP

Mirante Santo Antonio

Reviewed By Nadiadcb - Rome, Italy

The Mirante Santo Antonio is a good option to have a beautiful panoramic view of the city, specially at the sunset. Unfortunately the prefecture doesn't take care of it (not how it deserves) and the little church could be more presentable. Easy access by car or foot.

Maua Plaza Shopping

Reviewed By Mathew H - Sydney, Australia

This is a relatively small shopping centre full of shops and cheapish eats. There is a grocery store here (which is quite large) to pick up some groceries if you need them. This shopping centre doesn't seem to offer any free wifi - which we found in a shopping centre in Santo Andre. The shopping centre is located right near the Maua Train And Bus Stations. Can be quite interesting to walk down the main road opposite the shopping centre for a more traditional shopping experience.

Sabina

Reviewed By Rita-turista - Washington DC

Neat science center w/ a huge Earth made of recyclables just outside (see pic). Inside there are 2 levels of hands on science experiments, penguins, large fish tank, little stingrays to pet, moving t-rex, earthquake/thunderstorm simulator (I would not bring a small kid into this one), and more.
This center does not have a restaurant but it does have a large cafeteria so you can bring and eat a snack there. The center's main audience is schools on field trips, so call to see when they are open to the general public - it was weekends and holidays last time I checked. The entrance fee is R$10 (~$5) and there's parking. Guides for the experiments seem to be local college students and many of them speak English.
