A huge thanks to Mohamed and his team for my recent trekking trip based at M’Hamid and Oulad Driss in the pre-Sahara desert. All was very well organised. The accommodation was comfortable with en-suite shower rooms at both locations; one night was in a tent in a fixed desert camp with basic facilities. The temperature was higher than usual for the time of year (end February/beginning of March) so the hottest part of the day was spent relaxing in the shade. The trekking was very pleasant and was either on circular routes or between locations, over low dunes and through palm groves and areas of cultivation, for around four hours each day, and then a shorter walk in the evening when it had cooled down. It was interesting the visit the Kasbahs at both M’Hamid and Oulad Driss and at Bounnou, which are in part still habited, and to see the museum of historical domestic objects in the Kasbah at Oulad Driss. It was a full day’s drive there and back from Marrakech - the scenery was interesting and there were several stops for refreshment. The vehicles were comfortable and the driving was safe and on good roads (for the most part). Both the food throughout the trip and the guiding were excellent – thanks to cook Mohamed and guide Hamid I was very well looked after. Thanks again for a great trip. Continuation vers le village de Moulay Brahim et nous traversons le plateau de Kick et sa vallée avec ses montagnes et découvrons le Moyen Atlas et le désert de Marrakech par les pistes qui vous méneront vers la Vallée d’ Asni. Poursuite vers la vallée de l'Ourika, puis déjeuner près de la rivière,pour ensuite découvrir les 7 cascades et nous découvrons à 1800m d'altitude, le village de Seti Fatma niché dans la vallée. Depuis Marrakech cette excursion est vraiment une détente, et un dépaysement total.

We were very good taken care of and so excited to visit the desert. The tends were very nice, food was great and in the evening we could enjoy live music next to the open fire... The camel trip was exactly at sunrise and sunset-perfect time and organization! I wish we can go back, will definitely recommend it to anyone.

Took the desert ride in January and it was SPECTACULAR! The mountains were topped with snow, the desert was gorgeous and we stopped in the most amazing fortified medieval house in which Led Zeppelin played a jam session with local musicians in the 90's. I won't tell you about the lunch experience as it was a highlight. Want to travel as a traveler and not as a tourist? Look no more and book this ride!
