Pristine beach like hour away from Manta. Well preserved area. No restaurants or hotels. Closest city is Puerto Lopez like 15 minutes away. Perfect place to relax

A great introduction to Ecuadorian history pertaining to Eloy Alfaro. Free guided tours (in Spanish) through the exhibit and an example of the train that was used on the route from Guayaquil to Quito. Just above Monticristi, the views are amazing weather permitting.

Nice little beach with a few passable bars and restaurants. The waves look really strong when we were there. I wouldn't risk a swim. The climb to the cliff top on the rustic stairs was a real challenge for me but we made it. The views on top were spectacular

We arrived at 7:15am. All the fish had been offloaded! Lots of activity, frigates and pelicans diving. Soup at one of the restaurants is a must!
