Shark Bay

If you first look is from the surface, than you’ll probably think their isn’t much there. But as you enter the underground viewing area, you’ll be amazed at the amount of species that call the bay home. Like visiting an aquarium within a theme park. One of my favourite spots within SeaWorld

Loved this walk. I would love to walk it every morning as it follows the sea. Just watch out for the bicycles especially those who don't ring their bells.

Main Beach

Reviewed By jimnhelen - Brisbane, Australia

Great long beach with sections of parking along in different areas. Can have quite high tides sometimes and surf can get very rough with troughs and rips. Ensure you only swim where the lifeguard flags are present. There are at least 2 areas along the Main Beach area. There is also a dog friendly section further down away from the swimming areas. Close to Marina Mirage and the Southport Surf club where you can get food and drinks

Sea World

Reviewed By stut254 - Tauranga, New Zealand

Visited with our kids aged 10 and 7. It was a fantastic day. We came in May, which is a good time to avoid the crowds. We didn't have to queue for more than a couple of minutes for any of the rides and we had no trouble getting into all the attractions and shows. The downside is that some of the rides and attractions were closed for maintenance. We particularly enjoyed: - The Storm Coaster ride - The dolphin show - Shark Bay - The penguins - The jellyfish - The stunt show There is so much to see and do. We weren't able to get it all done in a day. We were staying at the resort next door and had unlimited entry, so we had another half day to get around the things we missed. If you only have a day, be very targeted and deliberate in what you want to see and do. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it.

If you are visiting the Gold coast make sure to visit Marina Mirage is about a 5 min drive from Surfers Paradise and is located just of the broad water so the views are great. When i say something for everyone , theres restaurants for all tastes some expensive but also places that are affordable , my favourite place would be the Fishos tavern its got great views of all the yachts and boats and the meals are reasonable and they always have a great band playing its great for families, there is also a really good fish and chips shop a few minutes walk from the Marina. Also at night time it looks amazing all the boats have their lights on the water lights up you can see fish swimming everywhere around the docks, me and my son love having dinner at the tavern getting a hot chocolate and going for a walk along the wharf.
