Kodagu, also known as Coorg, is a rural district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Farther north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls. Ooty, also known as Udhagamandalam, is a hill station in the state of Tamil Nadu, in southern India. Surrounded by trees, central Ooty Lake is a huge artificial expanse of water with pleasure boats. We booked a 9 day golden triangle tour with Royal Rajasthan Travels in Sep. Communication was excellent during planning, booking a bespoke tour for our specific date and location requests. They wrote a seamless itinerary including all hotels, guides at each location, private driver and car for the duration plus connecting train tickets. We went for the 4* accommodation option: the hotels were a mix of modern and traditional luxury hotels, all faultless and in great locations. Our driver Sanjay was the star of the trip and a credit to the company. He knitted the trip together perfectly, always at the right location at the right time, with cold bottled water and an infectious smile. The car was comfortable and we felt safe at all times – he was clearly experienced on the crazy Indian roads! Although not a professional guide he offered local and cultural knowledge along the journey and on occasions took us to local sights not on the schedule. Nothing was too much trouble for the company and they were very flexible when we wanted to change one of the planned days and add in an evening trip. The guides at each city varied in quality, but overall they were very good. A couple felt a bit rushed but conversely others went above and beyond. The Royal Rajasthan rep in Agra also excellently managed a crisis when our planned overnight train was cancelled, rebooking us on a different train and Sanjay getting us there in record time, meaning we didn’t have a delay at all in the end! Overall it was a fantastic trip: a perfect blend of stress-free luxury and culture. Excellent value for money (much more so than self booking) and we would highly recommend booking a similar tour with Royal Rajasthan Travels.

100% would book this again with Bangs 'n' Memories (BnM). Bangalore Tour by Tuk Tuk, organized by Bags 'n' Memories (BnM) was the perfect day trip tour around Bangalore. We looked over a number of trips for our sole day in Bangalore, and here's all the reasons why this is the best option: 1- Tuk Tuk: with the insane traffic in Bangalore (even by India standards), the Tuk Tuk provides the extra flexibility, manoeuvrability, and compactness to drive and park anywhere! If you go in a car, get ready to hit traffic jams. 2- They organized admission to all sites: Everything was paid up front, and then it BnM handled getting our tickets and we never had to worry about cash. If you are travelling a lot, you'll really appreciate having no worries during the day, as BnM take care of it all! 3- They organized an perfect authentic lunch! And it was perfect. :-) We had come from a co-workers wedding outside Bangalore and the lunch BnM organized was spot on perfect, just like the meals we had all week. 4- They were flexible in start/finish time, adjusted the tour to our schedule. We were bogged down from late travel the night before, but they adjusted to help us out. Really, You should go with this :-) Tuk Tuk tour is 100% the way to go.
