Great place for adventurous families willing to traverse the unmarked trails. Best to ask someone walking out best routes in and which of the upper or lower holes best based on water level. We found upper better in late summer.

I have skied every ski area in the the East since 10 years old, now 60. We had excellent conditions because it snowed. Crowded weekend. Big problem, They have a high tech lift ticket system ,but it just doesn’t work. to load the 2-400 people waiting at some lifts and there are empty chairs going up !! Lift attendants don’t have Any control over loading.
because it is a stupid system Okemo thinks does something for them ?
Rather go to Sugarloaf and ski on the honor system. They never check ticket, I pay anyway and every chair is full
Lift loading system needs major overhaul.
Won’t be back

I ski here every year, this was the first time I came in the fall. They have a downhill coaster good for all ages, zip lines, rock wall, stunt fall into the giant pillow, trampolines and mini golf. On a crisp fall day its a full day of activities and fun for all ages

We stopped in today and what a treat. The two women working were so friendly and helpful. We had samples of maple syrup and then we had maple creamee which was so good. We received great tips and directions. One warning, watch for the speed traps coming down the hill.

I always enjoy my time at Plymouth Sate Park. There is a huge grassy area with trees for shade or not. Handicap accessible in the shade is nice. Picnic tables with grills near by are a plus for spending the day or to enjoy after a day at work for us locals. A dip and dinner in the summer is fun. The playground will occupy children along with the possibility of renting paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, and now paddle boards.
Ice cream at the stand is very reasonable and a treat for everyone.
Some of the kids go to the small fishing dock to catch what they can. There are even carts to use to bring stuff down to the beach. Changing rooms, bathrooms are clean.

Beautiful ride up the mountain and a couple of spots you can stop for pictures. Is an amazing hike because of the breathtaking views. I especially like all the wildflowers.

The Black river Academy Museum (also home to the Black river Historical Society) is located in the old school where President Calvin Coolidge attended. The three floors are filled with interesting exhibits that outline the history of the people and businesses that created and developed this Vermont area from its inception in 1761 to the present. Chief highlights include: the role of the Finnish immigrants in the area, the furniture and businesses that grew in the area, and the collection of photos and memorabilia covering these periods. The museum also has in its collection a World War II section. The museum is fully ADA accessible. Due to its limited hours and open days, interested people should check the museum's web site or call to see if it is open.

Newly renovated boutique motel that is functional yet fun. Simple yet well-designed with a sense of authenticity and adventure that reflects the spirit of the area. A beautiful lobby bar downstairs that showcases spirited mixology and handcrafted cocktails, craft beer, and wine.

I have to start out by saying checking in was a breeze with just knowing the code to unlock your door. What we were disappointed in was the size of a king room. It was small and so was the bath. It looked nothing like the picture on line. The picture showed nice fabric covered chairs. Ours were plastic. There wasn’t a dresser or chest of drawers, which I would have used if we were staying more than two days and not living out of our bags on the floor. No ice machine and the shower was just warm. We were next to the coffee room, which is a nice touch but kids and adults passed our window at seven in the morning. On the plus side, very convenient to restaurants and Okemo. The bar was closed on Tuesday but we were wondering how noisy it would be in the room above the bar till late at night. I hope the owners well and maybe work out a few of the problems.

Fletcher Farm School offers a wide variety of classes. Taught by experts in their fields, it is amazing how much you can learn in a few days!
This summer I took classes in Rug Making, with Amy Oxford, inventor of the Oxford Punch Needle and author of Punch Needle Rug Hooking Techniques and Designs and other books on rugs; and Rug Braiding as embellishment to hooked rugs with Kris McDermet, one of the authors of Combining Rug Hooking & Braiding Basics, Borders, & Beyond. So lucky to be able to take classes with these talented women.
In the past I have taken classes in basketry, wood carving and drawing. All of the instructors have been excellent.
They offer classes in jewelry making, fiber arts, fine arts, glass, photography, quilting, weaving and so much more. When you are on campus, you are encouraged to walk around through the different classrooms, and see what everyone else is working on.
I've been going there each summer for almost 15 years, and each year I love it even more!!

I was in Ludlow over the weekend with some friends and we made appointments for a facials and massages at Calm Moments. The owner was accommodating and professional. She gave a great massage.
