This garden and the Sinaloa Gardens are possibly the same or at least they are blended together. Actually we couldn't tell the difference and our guide said they were the same. In any event this was a real gem right in the middle of the city and had multiple gardens, playgrounds, childrens activities, paths, a big lake, lots of birds and ducks, a butterfly house and garden, and much more. This is a must see for visitors to this area. Out group of about a dozen included nature lovers and those with no knowledge. All were delighted and thrilled to have done this visit.

This very large, free, city owned, part if right in the middle of town. We just stopped in on a one day visit to Los Mochis because it was the number 1 rated attraction. We were greeted at the front gate by two young women with maps of the gardens and the maps showing where we were and nearby restaurants and activities. The expertly answered questions and volunteer information on the best way to visit with various time restraints. Luckily we accepted the offer to do a complimentary tour on a golf cart. Our driver/guide was a real expert on the various areas which represented many areas around the world. There were many hidden treasurers, like a wonderful butterfly center, arbors, large lake, lots of birds and ducks, etc. It was extensive - several blocks worth. Lot of families and children and a wonderful playground area and arts center where children can even paint plaster sculptures. Our plan was to visit for an hour. However, we spent four hours there and wished we had more time. A big highlight of an 11 day tour of the West Coast of Northern Mexico.
