It is very powerful to stand on the top of the high cliffs and see the graves of the cemetery slowly fall into the sea.
The church was saved in small pieces awaiting a donor who would fund the rebuild somewhere safe, but in the end no-one showed and the pieces are now lost.
The wooden bell tower is still there as is the Anchor and memorial of the 228 dead from the English Crescent in 1808.
Great place to watch the sunset. (see photos)

This is one of the best glass art stores I've ever been. The store is managed by two danish guys. Besides their fragile and beautiful pieces of art, ask them for glass scrap. I bought a light blue piece of overblown glass scrap which is a true eyecatcher and which pleases the contemplative eye.

Dorte Visby har netop indviet den vellykkede ombygningaf hendes værksted og galleri , der ligger 125 meter fra Lønstrup Klint, som om ganske få år sender den forladte Maarup Kirke i havet. Udover hendes egne værker er der nu god plads til andre kunstnere, aktuelt indenfor akvarel, træ, kurv, smykker mm. Afgjort et besøg værd og nyd den fantastiske udsigt over havet.

The church in itself is not out much of the ordinary, but look out for Concerts (often free of charge)

Galleriet ligger i et gult hus med flotte vinduer midt i Lønstrup.
Her kan man kan finde kunst i mange forskellige udtryksformer, som fx. skulpturer, store krukker, malerier, litografier, tørklæder og sofapuder.
