The venue is located near Bormio in the Italian Alps and is well known for its skiing area. The village itself is arranged along a little creek named Frodolfo and the centre is not very big. The main attraction is of course the skiing area. They don't have many slopes but they are enough for every skill level. There are enough restaurants on the slopes for having a rest too. Normally there is not much traffic on the slopes which makes the skiing really great.

My fourth visit to this stunning town and I think we skied each and every slope and used almost every lift at least once this holiday. There are numerous tracks and mini snow parks as well as one larger one. The views are spectacular and the variety of slopes are exceptional. There are loads of restaurants to be found on the slopes themselves, and while they're a little more expensive than those in town they offer a great opportunity to stop and rest, get warm, drink a thick steaming Italian hot chocolate and use the restroom.

Don’t often write reviews but after the last few days experience have to tell everyone, we booked my daughters lessons in advance of going on recommendation of others and we struck gold one word sums up our experience STEFANO! What an amazing man and ski instructor his patience, understanding and encouragement is just incredible a true gentleman and credit to the ski school, my daughter has no vision and had only had a couple of lessons back home in the uk, Stefano improved her so much and had her skiing independently for the first time which gave her a great sense freedom and given her the bug! She’s already planning our trip next year when of course we will be returning to Passo del tonale the PonteDiLegno ski school and of course Stefano
