Stone's Throw MacPark Brewpub & Biergarten

Stone’s Throw Brewing is the product of four guys—Theron Cash, Brad McLaurin, Shawn Tobin and Ian Beard—who met in the local homebrew club, the Central Arkansas Fermenters. After doing most of the work themselves to turn a century old building in Little Rock’s MacArthur Park Historic District into a production facility, they began brewing operations on July 4, 2013 and opened an onsite taproom on August 1, 2013. Stone’s Throw Brewing specializes in small-batch, artisanal beers that are both creative and drinkable. The Stone’s Throw Brewing MacPark Brewpub & Biergarten is open to the public Tuesday-Thursday, 4-9 pm, Friday 4-10 pm, Saturday 12-10 pm, and Sunday 11 am-9 pm. Weekly events include Game Night at 6 pm Tuesdays, all night happy hour Wednesdays, Free Trivia at 6:30pm on Thursdays, new beer releases every Friday, brewery tours at 1 & 3 pm Saturday & Sunday, and beer to go during regular business hours including Sundays.

Rebel Kettle Brewing Company

Our beers embody a spirit and style that set them apart from the rest. Some are nuanced, others are brazen but each has a unique quality that is all their own. Much like the people who drink them. Our brewery has 16 draft beers and 4 draft wines. We offer a full food menu with a Cajun influence. Brunch is served every Sunday from 10am-3pm. A new beer is released nearly every Thursday at 4:30pm along with live music on stage in the backyard during the spring and summer. 10% discount on food for Active Military & First Responders

We had a large group for dinner and the staff was friendly and helpful. We all tried the different burgers and cheese fries. The beers were good and I would return. The homemade chips are great and the crawfish cheese dip my family liked.

Flying Saucer Little Rock

Saucers all over the walls and ceiling, some of them decorative, some of them showing that the person whose name is on the saucer has had one each of their 200 of their brands of beer. Fast friendly service. We had a Reuben with fries and a Cobb salad. The food is not that inventive, but fast and entrées were all around $12. We don't drink alcohol, but if you do, and that alcohol is beer, you'd probably be in Nirvana.

Loony Bin Comedy Club

This was the best date night ever! I called them twice with various questions and got very polite, friendly answers. The place was socially distant so every other table was empty but the place was rocking busy on a Saturday night (face masks required on the walk to the table, but not while sitting at the table.) There were three comedians, they started on time, and we also had food. I need vegetables, so I had one option but the food was all tasty and the service was friendly and fast. I think the tickets were $12 or $15 each and I paid for them online. A bargain, don't hesitate! We need belly laughs at all times but especially during times like these...
