Havana Beach

Reviewed By ItalianBritishCat - Milan, Italy

We came upon this place by chance in the sense that it is a little beach beyond what looks like the main beach. It is run by two extremely friendly young men who bend over backwards to make sure you’re happy. The beach itself is a stone beach with white sand make up of ground pumice stone and is right next to the ex pumice caves. There is a little beach bar which serves lovely salads and sandwiches, and they have created an area with sun beds and umbrella’s including a little VIP area which is delightful and a little more “private”. I love the atmosphere here and the two owners are simply wonderful.

We took a tour with Nadia, taxi drive. She is very prepared and told us all about the island and the pomice quarry - closed since Lipari was listed by UNESCO as landmark. Grey mountain, blue sky and 270 degree of aquamarine water is an unforgettable moment.

White Beach

Reviewed By Excursion366501 - Melbourne, Australia

We decided to visit White Beach from Lipari. We were picked up from our residence in a bus then transferred onto a little boat. You need to be able to cljmb on board from the water. It was an unbelievably beautiful short trip to the beach and all transport was 6 Euro total. White Beach is a beautiful stoney beach (Don’t expect sand) with the magical deep blue warm water. We hired chairs for the day and there were very few other people around. Beautiful pasta and coffee is available. Highly recommended
