This was busy day and night. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating. Very pretty and ornate buildings so don't forget to look up at them!

Architecture and its furnishings - two organs, magnificent altar, magnificent pulpit, remarkable glass windows, etc. - it is rightly a wonderful landmark of the city of Linz. As it is sizewise the largest Gothic church in Austria, even bigger than the Stephansdom in Vienna, a definite must see. And take a while to enjoy the magnitude.

The amusement park takes you back into a fairy tale world of dwarfs and gnomes. The highlight of the attraction is a small train with a dragon-head at the engine. The train takes you through a rather dark tunnel along which are scenes from various fairytales and mood lighting at some places. Outside, you have a replica old-town market. The spokes radiating from the central market house scenes from popular fairy tales like the red riding hood, Rapunzel, snow-white, sleeping beauty and the likes. Kids will absolutely love this attraction and the grown ups will enjoy it as well.

Hohenrausch 2021

The Linzer Hohenrausch Museum is great fun for children, families and adults. The art and technology displays are engaging. However, the real fun is the tower, outdoor beach area, rooftop garden and children play maze. All of these are designed above the museum roof structure. GREAT views across the city. I would skip climbing up church steeples and just go here for a view. PS - on sunny days children (and maybe some adults ) can cool off with bathing suits at the rooftop water sprinkler area.
