Fairly new park in the great Gwinnett County park system. There are several baseball fields, a pavalion, restrooms and a nice playground. A paved waling trail goes all around the park. Good way to get some exercise. clean facilities.

Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary

Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary has been a iconic destination for Georgians for almost 60 years. Providing a chance for young and old to get very close too and learn about many of Georgia's native and not so native animals right outside Atlanta. Check out our black bears playing in the waterfalls. Feed and help brush down barn yard animals like goats, sheep and Ferdinand the huge but lovable steer. Sit in with the bunnies in the bunny yard. Feed American bison if you dare. Hang out with lovable Lemurs and Spider Monkey and have a howling good time with the coyotes. When you are all done, take a crack at gem mining that any rock hound would love.

We spent a delightful Sunday here with our 3 year old. There was plenty to see, safe distancing with other patrons and plenty of happy animals to see. Unlike other Sanctuaries I have been to, the animals have plenty of space to roam and look happy.

BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

Open to one and all, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir was inaugurated in August of 2007 after only 17 months of construction time utilizing 1.3 Million volunteer hours. The Mandir is comprised of 3 types of stone (Turkish Limestone, Italian marble, and Indian pink sandstone). More than 34,000 individual pieces were carved by hand in India, shipped to the USA and assembled in Lilburn like a giant 3-D puzzle.

Great experience. I highly recommend going to the giftshop and paying $5 for the self-guided audio tour.
